Who we are

Healdsburg Pride exists to celebrate the vitality, history and ongoing movement for LGBTQIA2S+ rights and visibility. We gather as a community to honor those who came before us, support those here today, and invest in the next generation. Healdsburg is rooted in both celebration and social justice. Pride is a space of joy, resistance, belonging, and collective care.

Commitment to Community

We are committed to create a space that is welcoming, affirming, and safe for all people, especially LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and those from vulnerable and historically marginalized communities. We recognize that access to resources in Healdsburg, Geyserville, and North County are often limited. Through our event, including a community resource fair at FF Community Pavilion, we aim to connect individuals and families with services that support health, well-being, legal access, education, and community connection. This event will include family-friendly activities and opportunities to engage across all age groups.

Healdsburg Pride Purpose in Community Impact and Scholarships

A core purpose for Healdsburg Pride is to raise funds for scholarships supporting youth from all backgrounds and especially those from vulnerable populations, including LGBTQIA2S+ youth, with a focus on students connected to Healdsburg High School. This work is strengthened through collaboration with local partners like Exchange Bank. We believe in investing in young people as leaders, creators, and as change makers.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that this gathering takes place on the ancestral lands of the Southern Pomo, Coast Miwok, and Kashia Pomo peoples, who have stewarded this land since time immemorial. We honor their enduring connection to this place and recognize that Indigenous communities continue to live, work, and care for this land today.

Partners, Sponsors, and Vendors

Participation in Healdsburg Pride is aligned with our values. We ask that all partners, sponsors, and vendors demonstrate a commitment to equity, inclusion, and respect for LGBTQIA2S+ communities. We prioritize collaboration with organizations that serve and reflect our local community.

Accessibility and Inclusion

We are committed to making this event as accessible as possible. This includes welcoming people of all ages and abilities, creating inclusive and family-friendly spaces, providing opportunities to engage and connect with community based resources, and using language and practices that affirm a range of identities. We recognize that this work is ongoing and will continue to evolve with community input.

A Living Commitment

This charter is a reflection of our values today and will continue to grow as our community grows. We are committed to the people we serve and are grounded in the belief that Pride belongs to the community and not to any one individual.
